COMMON Q&A's
Who is the Owner of the Server? JodianGaming (formerly "ViperZeroOne")
Is This On a Dedicated or Shared Server? The server is dedicated but might share resources with other games we offer.
Is There Any Downtime? Very rarely the server may be taken offline for mod updates.
How Often Are Updates Performed? I check for updates once a week but only perform necessary ones.
Do I Need to Install Mods? All mods are server-side only, all you need to play is Minecraft itself.
Do You Allow PVP? No, in addition players may not damage or remove other player's hard work.
Can I Be a Moderator? Short answer is NO. Moderators, if needed, will be "hired" from players who have earned our respect.
Can I Run a Shop? Players have full access to create shops, check the help area below for the shop recipe.
Do You use Currency? Player shops use a barter system. To buy from them you must provide what the seller wants in exchange.
TNT Use is Highly Restricted: There is really no good use for TNT on a survival server. As such we have gone to great lengths to disable any damage that can be caused by using TNT blocks. Any player found circumventing this, to cause explosive damage, will be removed from the server.
Don't Block Construction: We believe that being a good neighbor is critical to having happy players. Thus, players may not purposely block other players who are trying to build. For instance, if a player has clearly marked an area for a project you may not start building in that area. There is plenty of world to build in. In rare occasions, where a player claimed ownership near a landmark, such as the spawn, we MIGHT consider removing their builds if the player has been absent from the server for over 6 months.
Village Ownership: We respect that players like villages and, as such, we want villagers to be accessable to all players. With this in mind, players may feel free to place walls around villages, light them up, and make them safe. That said, you may NOT claim ownership of a server-created village or steal the beds/doors from it. If you want full control of a village, create one and populate it.
No Reef Destroying: No player may purposely destroy a naturally generated coral reef. These are fairly rare and, as such, must be protected for the enjoyment of all players. Players may take coral for their own builds however you must limit yourself so the reef is not made barren.
No Exploits/Cheating: Along with every game presents the opportunity for players to search the internet far and wide for things that will make their game unusually easy. In other words, they look for ways to cheat. Cheating only takes away from the joy experienced by players who've actually earned the admiration of others. With our own history of playing this game we know what x-ray use looks like. We know what it means when players have chests full of resources they couldn't have possibly have gathered normally. Our server logs keep track of every single thing a player does in our world. Suspicious behavior WILL be investigated and players found cheating will be perminently removed from the server.
RULES OF OUR SERVER
The following rules apply to EVERYONE on our Minecraft server. Please ensure you read and understand these rules as the punishment for breaking them can include losing the ability to play on ALL of our servers. These rules are common sense, ignorance of them is not an acceptable excuse.

PLAYER HELP
The information below is provided to give you assistance with some of the added features of our server. It's not a complete walkthrough of all features but it should be enough to get you started. You will find our community a friendly one, if you're stuck on something it never hurts to ask for help in chat.
Player Shops:
To start out with your player shop you must first craft the Trade Shop block, as seen in the recipe on the left.
Once you have created the shop block you must place it either on or beside a storage container, like a chest. Now you get the shop settings where you'll need to set what item you're selling, the quantity of the item, and the price.
We highly suggest players stick to using a single currency (ex. diamonds) for the economy. That said, these shops allow you to setup virtually any trade.
Note: Shops only work if sold items are available in the attached chest.
Player Protections:
The following will show you the crafting recipes you will need to create protective areas for your builds. These protections are directly related to the GOML commands listed above in the command list. The blocks you create with the following recipes are always the CENTER of the protection.
Goggles of Claim:
While you can place claim blocks without these goggles, you'll quickly want to get the goggles as they allow you to see all claimed areas. These goggles will make it easy for you to find areas you can claim as your own.
Makeshift Anchor:
This will likely be the first protection you create. The protected area is a radius of 10 blocks.
Reinforced Anchor:
This anchor is one step up from the Makeshift Anchor and will provide a protected area radius of 25 blocks.
Reinforced Upgrade:
Use this upgrade on an already existing Makeshift Anchor to upgrade it to Reinforced.
Glistening Anchor:
This anchor is one step up from the Reinforced Anchor and will provide a protected area radius of 50 blocks.
Glistening Upgrade:
Use this upgrade on an already existing Reinforced Anchor to upgrade it to Glistening.
Crystal Anchor:
This anchor is one step up from the Glistening Anchor and will provide a protected area radius of 75 blocks.
Crystal Upgrade:
Use this upgrade on an already existing Glistening Anchor to upgrade it to Crystal.
Emeraldic Anchor:
This anchor is one step up from the Crystal Anchor and will provide a protected area radius of 125 blocks.
Emeraldic Upgrade:
Use this upgrade on an already existing Crystal Anchor to upgrade it to Emeraldic.
Withered Anchor:
This anchor is one step up from the Emeraldic Anchor and will provide a protected area radius of 200 blocks.
Withered Upgrade:
Use this upgrade on an already existing Emeraldic Anchor to upgrade it to Withered.
